A leading European player in the vegetal sector  

Since the Gelpass Group creation in 1996, the aim has been to be a European key player in the world of vegetable frozen food with a focus on food safety, product quality and customer satisfaction.

With our production site in Corrèze and our industrial partners, including Pasfrost, we are an agile and high-performance company, acknowledged for our responsiveness and our employees’ commitment.

2003

Externals growth…

Our own industrialization began in 2003 by the acquisition of the Francep factory (Brive-La-Guillarde), specialized in wild mushrooms. Then in 2008 with the purchase of the Garnier company, in Mions ( 69 ), specialized in frozen processed fruits.

2005

Construction of a production unit, repatriation of the 2 entities, Francep and Garnier.

In 2005, we created a 2500m2 production unit in Saint-Viance (19). Francep will move there, followed by Garnier in 2009. The total surface area of the production site has more than doubled to reach 6000m².

2012

Investment: Construction of a very modern cold storage.

In 2012, we invested in the construction of a new cold storage with a capacity of 6000 pallets in a mobile palletizer.

2016

Launch of our own brand…

Thanks to our expertise, in 2016 we launched our own brand “Nature Creative by Gelpass Group”.

2019

Quality first…

Our production site in Saint-Viance (19) is managed by a quality management system recognized IFS/BRC highest level for 10 years. We are now integrating ISO140001 (control of environmental responsibilities) which will be finalized in early 2019.

At the end of 2018, our commercial activity, based in Armentières, obtained the IFS Broker certification.

2019

François DEQUESNE and Vincent SEPIETER, associates in Gelpass group, have taken over Délivert and Compagnie des Produits Sauvages (CPS) companies.

 

Délivert cleans, trims, cuts and packs raw, pasteurized or pickled vegetables. The aim is to develop markets by creating synergies with Gelpass group and to open up to the 4th category (raw, ready to use) and the 5th category (cooked, ready to use) businesses.

CPS is specialized in the selection, sizing, processing according to specifications and packaging of exceptional products (wild mushrooms, wild asparagus…). The objective is to develop markets and complementary plant sectors manufacturers, catering professionals and specialized distributors.
