Our IQF garlic range

Garlic (Allium sativum), a member of the Amaryllidaceae family, is a prime condiment, bringing distinctive flavor and undeniable quality to your products. Native to Central Asia, it belongs to the same family as onions, leeks and shallots.
Harvest period
Garlic harvest time varies according to a number of factors, including the variety grown and local climatic conditions. Usually, garlic heads are ready to harvest when the leaves begin to dry out and turn yellow. This stage tends to occur in late spring or early summer, depending on region and climate. Ranging in height from 50 to 100 cm, garlic needs strong, clayey, well-drained soil to thrive. Recognizable by its strong, distinctive odor, garlic is available in a range of colors from white to red to purple.
