It all began in 1979 with Monsieur Garnier, a fruit enthusiast whose ambition was to preserve the organoleptic qualities of the fresh fruit. Mr. Garnier developed a unique and innovative technology: cold candying fruit and became a pioneer of fruit coulis in France.
Quickly recognised by French industrialists and chefs, Garnier’s know-how was exported from Europe to Asia in the 1990s.
For more than 10 years, the Gelpass group has been perpetuating and developing the know-how of Garnier. Through strong innovations, we mobilise our creative energy in research and development. Today, Garnier products are marketed under the Nature Créative® brand name.
Our Nature Créative® products are divided into three categories:
For more than 10 years, the production site has been certified IFS at the highest level.
In order to guarantee the excellence of the products, the company is constantly looking for improvement. Our R&D teams are currently mobilised on a project to naturalise all our recipes towards the 100% Clean Label. We are also developing our products towards organic products with already 2 references: Organic Lemon and Organic Orange Perlé®.
The Francep-Garnier production site is committed to sustainable development. The company is ISO 14001 certified.
In order to reduce its environmental impact, Francep-Garnier chooses refrigerants with low warming potential rather than gases. With a CO2 plant for negative refrigeration and a system using R1234ze and glycol water for positive refrigeration, the global warming potential (GWP) is less than or equal to 1.
To promote energy recuperation, a 10 m2 hot water recuperation tank is used to heat the plant and to defrost the evaporators.
Finally, the production site has been designed to reduce noise and visual pollution towards the neighbourhood (landscaping integration is ensured by wooden cladding).
